Honey Bees

Enoch De Sota, our young beekeeper,
is learning the art of beekeeping
with mentoring from the Sunrise Bee Company.
Local honey will be available in the late summer/fall--sweet and raw from our own hives and wildflowers.

Our chickens are raised outdoors
by the whole family and loved by all.

  • Eggs are $4.50/dozen.

  • Broilers: Limited availability in July. $18/bird dressed according to your preferences. Available July 27, 2025!

  • Stewing Hens also available whole for $5 purchase July 27, 2025.

Our happy-happy pigs are cared for by our herdsman Gideon De Sota, who raises them with attention, care and NonGMO feed.

  • Pork for 2025 is estimated $3.50 per pound hanging weight

  • Sold by the half or whole hog

Our Goal

Our goal is to follow Christ our Lord and Saviour and to worship him with everything we do, act and say. Here at Fields of Home we seek to do all things to this end--as unto Him. We are also thankful for the community in which the Lord placed us.

  • We have just completed another season at the Chisago County Fair. We are very thankful to be a part of this county.

  • Gideon received champion awards for his breeding pen of chickens and for chicken processing this year. He also has an opportunity to take a pig to the state fair.

  • Jethro received a champion award for poultry showmanship.

  • Enoch received a champion award for his market chicken carcass as well as participated in his first youth livestock auction.

  • Maggie showed chickens for the first time in the ring as a cloverbud.

  • Anna practiced with her siblings this year. She is good with chickens and will surely do well in the future.

  • Seth continues to get more involved, make new connections and help around the barns at the fairgrounds.
